We have just had a paper accepted in Frontiers in Veterinary Science.
Dunn JC, Clark F. (2022). From Soundwave to Soundscape: A Guide to Acoustic Research in Captive Animal Environments’. Frontiers in Veterinary Science (in press).
This is the first paper to come out of our new projects on the impacts of human noise on captive animal welfare. We offer thoughts and recommendations about how sound can be an important consideration in the management of captive animals, and a practical guide as to how to go about research in this field. The review aims to reach a wide, non-specialist audience with an interest in sound measurement, but who have previously found the topic difficult to penetrate.
We will post a final pdf of the paper as soon as we have the proofs, but you can access the accepted version on our Publications page, using the link above.
